Jen is a fifth generation Portland native and a third generation Realtor who over the years, has lived in all quadrants of the city. Needless to say, she’s a true local with the inside scoop on Portland and its history. Jen grew up helping her father with his commercial apartment exchange business and she owns a few investment properties here in Portland and one in Bend, OR. Her decision to become a Realtor came naturally, and she began her career in 2003. With a majority of her clients coming through referrals, we’d say she’s doing things right! The parts of the business that excite her most are negotiating & strategy aspects of the transaction. She loves educating clients so that they have a strong grasp of what their options at every step along the way. Hyper-communication is what her clients continually report feeling most happy about.
Jen spends some of her professional time as a member of the RMLS Hearings Committee as well as the Grievance Committee that handles ethics complaints through the Portland Metropolitan Association of Realtors. Jen is also a member of the OAR Diversity Committee & the OAR Business Issues Committee. She is passionate about the city’s history as well as where its future lies. She stays active in the community and is currently a member of the Oregon Historical Society, Architectural Heritage Center, Women’s Foundation of Oregon, and Portland’s City Club. And Jen is a volunteer & sponsor of the Vanport Mosaic.
Jen currently lives in Northeast Portland with her husband and daughter and dog Ollie. In her off time, she loves spending time with her family, exploring new places inside & outside of the city, reading biographies and studying Portland history. Jen is a University of Oregon graduate, and studied abroad in Germany.
